Skippers' Meeting, Dinner at Navy Pier, Pink Pony Party

(Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008) The Chicago Beneteau 40.7 Fleet affirmed it's presence among the big-boat one-design classes in Area III with a booth at the Strictly Sail show at Navy Pier from Thursday through Sunday. Saturday evening a fleet skippers' meeting was held at the pier. The meeting had representatives from 9 of the 12 fleet members. After the meeting, about thirty people, skippers, crew, friends and relatives from six boats had dinner at Joe's Be Bop Cafe at the pier. Following that, many fleet members met at the Pink Pony Party at Belmont Harbor. Photos of the entire evening can be viewed at Fleet Photos.
